Becky's experience not only includes activities normally associated with an REO real estate professional but all aspects of liquidating REO assets in a timely manner. In addition, Becky has experienced first hand both the commendable aspects and the shortcomings of the parties involved in a typical REO transaction. Her day-to-day involvement with local agents( mostly through her staff now due to their high volume) provides a constant pulse on both sides of the "transaction fence". "I make sure all of my clients questions are answered, which is becoming quite a challenge as my staff answers approximately 150 calls per day." She can appreciate, analyze and rectify any problems or concerns that are encountered on each side of the "coin". More than 10 years in new construction along with 17 years of REO gives Becky a unique background in identifying inventory "shortcomings" to her asset managers to appropriately set values on existing properties. Working in conjunction with her staff, her sole goal is a quick and profitable sale of the asset for the client. Included in her duties as Controller for the company, Shelly manages all accounts and billing for the REO Division - The Becky Loar Group. She has the awesome task of insuring all invoices and receipts regarding all of our properties are handled and processed in a timely manner. In addition, Shelly is the Operations Manager for ERA Appoints Realty. She taught in both North Carolina and Georgia until she joined the Becky Loar Group in 2002. At that time, she worked closely with Becky as a licensed assistant learning the ins and outs of REO. Currently, Nicole manages the closing department. She is involved with an asset from offer submission through close of escrow. Cathy is a skilled specialist with an extensive background in home mortgage counseling, new home purchasing and issues connected with housing ordinances and HUD regulations. Cathy began her career in Ashland, Kentucky as the city's Community and Development Coordinator. From there, she moved to Atlanta to work as Region IV Acquisition/Relocation Specialist for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In just 3 years, HUD recruited Cathy to become a Civil Rights Analyst/Investigator for their Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO), where she also served for two years as Assistant to the Regional Director. When Cathy retired from HUD in 2009, Becky snapped her up to be part of the BLG team where she works with agents regarding important city and county issues that may arise in connection with properties. She also researches Homeowner Associations. Lisa knows first-hand how the property closing process works from both the legal and the realty sides of the table. After working years as a paralegal secretary, Lisa obtained her certificate to become a paralegal. And as if the Becky Loar Group doesn't keep her busy enough, this multi-tasking mom takes pride in working with her husband to handle their three children.
